
Jill C. Manning, Ph.D. is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who specializes in research and clinical work related to pornography and problematic sexual behavior. Dr. Manning has practiced therapy in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, LDS Family Services, schools and private practice. In 2005, Dr. Manning was selected to be a visiting Social Science Fellow at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., and as a result of her research there, testified before a Senate sub-committee on the harms of pornography last November. She has been featured in several television programs and radio talk shows, including a recent appearance on Fox News, and has authored numerous chapters and articles on the subject of pornography. Dr. Manning, along with John Hess of LDS Family Services, are directors of the LifeSTAR Network of Denver, a specialized treatment program for sexual addictions. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she currently resides in Westminster with her husband.
