FREEDOM LANGUAGE - New Scripts for Relationship Challenges
Hosts: Kenneth H. Patey, Sharon Patey
How often have you said to your self, “I really should have said that differently?” Communication on your part is only half of the battle. It is half the battle because if you cannot communicate YOUR feelings in such a way that allows others to express what THEY feel, COMMUNICATION REALLY HASN’T TAKEN PLACE!
When you learn relationship principles that can govern your scripts, then you can be clear, forthright, compassionate and understanding all at the same time. That skill will allow you to navigate through the waters of verbal chaos safely. You need to be aware that you typically cannot control how others think, feel, and behave. [Admittedly, we’d LIKE to, at times!] Nor can control how they interpret what we say. Freedom language, however, language that is principle based, will give you the “best shot” possible at establishing a relationship with your children where family chaos can end. YOUR “BEST SHOT”, WHEN IT IS PRINCIPLE-BASED, WILL SURPRISE YOU!
