Dr. Shondell Knowlton has been awarded the Sant Fellowship for research contributing to the Family and the graduate research fellowship from Brigham Young University. Her research was on connection, regulation and autonomy in relationships.  She has presented at several Governors conferences on the family, and Families Under Fire conferences.  Her most recent presentations have been focused on depression, healing from sexual abuse, and healing for the spouse of sexually acting out partners.  She has a private practice in Farmington Utah where she works with "clients who are amazing, wonderful people that have hit a bump in the road".  Women's issues and marital therapy are her specialty.
